The sidefolder is a durable design, made of 1mm thick steel, pressed with extreme pressure and welded to form a very strong shoulder firing buttstock. It folds to the left and locks up tight in both folded and extended position (does not require a left-side forward receiver latch). Steel hinge arm and base form a snug interface that will provide many years of reliable service. It includes a right side sling loop and weighs approximately 17.5 oz. altogether including the hinge base. Although pictured with this kit in some ads, the barrel is not included in this kit, but is available here.
