Description   This ramp is designed to be permanently installed onto VZ58 bolt carriers by qualified gunsmiths to fix the "Gremlin" cycling problem. This problem is well documented in videos and instructional descriptions all over the web. Many of the guys who have worked through this fix and documented it are much more knowlegeable than we are about it. We just happen to have the machines needed to produce these ramps and make them available for easy purchase. We have installed these on multiple guns with good end results. These ramps are made from 4142 pre-hard ground stock. They are the proper width and cut to fit most bolt carriers without additional modification. Here is the method that we have used to install: Clean disassembled bolt carrier and ramp with alcohol or other de-greaser. Match ramp to left underside of bolt carrier. Sand, file, or otherwise modify if necessary to get good fit that is flush on bottom side. Add flux to ramp and bolt carrier. Clamp the ramp into place and silver solder with 1000°+ solder. Add only enough solder to flow on top edge and behind the ramp. Allow to cool. Check fit. File if necessary.
