Armbraces and hinge components are continuously being produced. We do hit occasional shortages that may delay shipment, but the vast majority of orders will ship within 3 weeks. When all components are available, orders normally ship within 2 business days.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

AKM: If you own a polytech or other Chinese manufactured AK you will need the MAK-90.

AK Milled: This refers to milled AK rifles featuring an upper and lower tang. Please note, the lower tang will extend past the hinge base. This does not interfere with the function of the hinge base but it is better to shorten the lower tang. The hinge base itself does utilize the first hole, closest to the receiver, on the lower tang.

PSA AK-V / AK-P: These pistols are compatible with AKM if you use the "Modular Tang" from PSA. They are sold separately by PSA. If your pistol currently has their rear buffer tube adapter then you can find the modular tang inside the buffer tube adapter assembly. Please note, because the modular tang is free floating we recommend fully tightening the trunnion screw before tightening the tang screw. Otherwise, the PSA rear picatinny adapter works with our 1913 picatinny hinge.

SAM7k: There are several versions that differ on the rear of the receiver. The very first SAM7k featured a factory installed, permanent sling swivel. If you remove the sling swivel, generally by cutting the swivel, you may use the SAM7k (With rear sling swivel) option. Later models included a removable quick detach swivel. These are very easy to install and require no modification. Lastly, some of the newer models include a rear picatinny rail. You can either use our 1913 picatinny hinge or if you remove the pic rail, our SAM7k-44 (Direct mount to receiver) will work. On the latter, you will find a square shaped hole with square shaped spacer underneath the picatinny rail. Use our provided mounting hardware in conjunction with the square shaped spacer to install.

Draco / Micro Draco / NAK-9 / Hellpup / Mini Jack / Polish Lynx / etc: If you own a flat back AK pistol you can use any of the previously mentioned bases interchangeably as they are all the same. The only real consideration is if your gun already features a hole through the rear trunnion. Some models will have one in the form of a QD sling swivel and they will require no modification. Other models will not have a hole through the trunnion - in which case you can use our Buttstock Drill Kit. Please note, the ZPAP92 and other Zastava pistol are not completely flat but rather have a slight angle on the back of the trunnion. Therefore, we offer a unique pistol base specifically for the PAP's.
