Description   SAM7k-01: The original version of the SAM7k featured a permanently attached sling swivel on the rear of the receiver. The easiest way to remove it is to cut it off from the outside using a dremel tool. Once removed, you will find two intersecting holes in the rear of the receiver forming a "figure 8" type pattern. SAM7k-34: This version features a single, circular hole on the rear of the receiver for a QD sling swivel. SAM7k-44: This version comes with a factory installed rear picatinny rail. The rail is removable and underneath you will find a square shaped hole containing a square shaped spacer. The SAM7k-44 (direct mount to receiver) utilizes the factory installed spacer along with our mounting hardware. The picatinny mount option will simply mount to the rear picatinny rail. Precision machined from aircraft aluminum, this hinge is designed to lock up solid, even tighter as wear ensues, and provide years of trouble free use while maintaining its light weight. Includes a hardened steel bushing around the hinge pin to prevent wear, and chrome plated stainless steel spring with ground ends. Contoured to match your rear trunnion, this stock provides a nice factory look and installs easily. All models have an extra deep QD sling swivel pocket and finished in Class III black hardcoat. All parts and material are MADE IN USA, right down to the spring, pin, and e-clip.
