The SKS Quick Mag Release is an exciting new product that we developed in conjunction with one of our many fantastic customers. As shown, it makes use of a standard AR15 mag release button to drop the SKS mags reliably and lightning fast.




It can be installed in 5-10 minutes with a single hex-key wrench and no modifications to your gun. Just place it right in over your trigger guard and existing mag catch, push the custom machined nut into the mounting slot and tighten with 2 set screws.

It works with standard wood stock SKS and tactical stocks (as shown in video).

All internal components are made of heat treated 416 stainless steel for excellent wear and corrosion resistance. The body is made from billet 6061 T6 aluminum, and coated with Class 3, black hardcoat.

***Note ***** You will need to choose the correct device depending on which type trigger guard your gun has. Most SKS rifles have a trigger guard that is milled into the receiver from a single block of gunmetal. Some Chinese models have a stamped trigger guard that is spot welded on as shown in comparison photos here:

It seems to me if you can do this, why not make an adapter that fits AK magazines? Great idea though.

Let me know when you produce a left handed version.....I have installed one on a friends SKS...he loves it ..Please let me know  when a left handed one is available.  excellent product ...
