Description Specifications   ***NOTE: We make this thread starter to satisfy numerous requests from customers. However we can not recommend threading 9/16-24 for this caliber. Gunsmiths should carefully consider whether the wall thickness of the muzzle will be strong enough to withstand muzzle pressure when threaded to this size. We would recommend using at least a 5/8 diameter thread. This is a simple TAT (thread alignment tool) for re-threading .45 caliber muzzles to accept 9/16 - 24 RH muzzle devices.
