Description   Only works on Buffer-less AR uppers such as the BRN-180 from Brownells. AR's that use the buffer tube recoil spring will NOT be compatible. 416 stainless steel mounting nut is included that cinches the hinge base to the rear of gun by means of a hex wrench tightened from inside the lower receiver. A locking set screw is then tightened to jam the mount in place preventing it from loosening during use. Works well with Sig P556 and other AR based guns with short stroke piston based recoil system. Also ideal for use on Meridian Defense "Little Dirty". Precision machined from aircraft aluminum. This hinge is designed to lock up solid, even tighter as wear ensues, and provide years of trouble free use while maintaining its light weight. Includes a hardened steel bushing around the hinge pin to prevent wear, and chrome plated stainless steel spring with ground ends. Contoured to match your rear trunnion, this armbrace provides a nice factory look and installs without the use of any adapters or requiring modifications to your gun. All models have an extra deep QD sling swivel pocket on opposite side from fold Finished in Class III black hardcoat. All parts and material are MADE IN USA, right down to the spring, pin, and e-clip.
