This flash hider for AK rifles is based on the Norinco type 84 birdcage design. Unlike the original Chinese versions, it’s bored to work with 7.62 or .223 calibers. It’s also a perfect choice for use with bayonets as shown in this photo (#4). Top quality material, machined in the USA and finished in black oxide. Counts as 1 compliant part.

Bought one of these in right hand thread for my VZ and it worked so well I bought this for my WASR to get rid of the slant brake on it also. Great fit and finish on this one also and works as advertised. Thanks again CNC Warrior.

I could not be happier with both the product, and the service I received. This flash harder fits my Vepr perfectly, and it also mimics the look of the current RPK 74 flash hider almost perfectly.
